Government Shutdown Imminent

The Republican-controlled Senate's attempt to stop another US government shutdown is balancing on the edge and due collapse as it heads towards a midnight deadline.

The House of Representatives voted 230-197 on Thursday night for a bill to extend funding until next month.

Senate to shoot down with majority not in favor.
